A Question of Worth, an empathy/movement experience

Hosted by Sasha Soreff

A Question of Worth, an empathy/movement experience
How do you value yourself? Are questions of worth and worthiness familiar on the landscape of your days? With empathy and gentle movement, we’ll investigate and shift our relationships with worth.

Questions of worth abound, whether it is the valuation of goods and services or the assessments of one's financial assets. These assessments of worth and value get blended with an evaluation of what is deserved. How to disentangle one's experience of self-worth and worthiness?

Empathic conversation, rooted in the principles of Non-Violent Communication and coupled with creative movement, invites us to connect with our experiences around worth and worthiness with compassion and support. When we are accompanied in our shame, fear, and experiences of judgement (internal and external), we can become more present to ourselves and others. Creative movement allows for the embodied expression of long-held feelings, bringing us from our heads into our hearts and toward a deeper level of self-connection and healing.

Note: All movement can be done seated, standing, or lying down, and all movement invitations are optional: you can fully participate whether you move or not. All forms of creative expression and embodiment, including stillness, is welcome.
