Bridge to Within: Decoding Body Sensations

Hosted by Sasha Soreff

Bridge to Within: Decoding Body Sensations
How can we attune to our bodies and discover our cellular wisdom? Empathy, embodiment, and expression to bring us from our heads into our hearts and bodies.

Body sensations offer vital cues and clues to our internal state of being, feelings and needs, and ultimately, our truth. But it isn’t always easy to connect to body sensations; it can stimulate overwhelm, confusion, dread and even a sense of risk. This is a space for gently connecting body sensations and what they mean, while acknowledging what inhibits this connection. Participants will come away with practical tools for decoding body sensations, as well as experiencing greater self-connection, understanding, and relief.

Empathic conversation, rooted in the principles of Non-Violent Communication invites us toward a compassionate understanding of our lived experiences; creative movement allows for the embodied expression of long-held feelings. This union of empathy, embodiment, and expression brings from our heads into our hearts and toward a deeper level of self-connection and presence.

No prior movement experience is necessary. All movement invitations are optional, and one can participate sitting, standing, or lying down, on camera or off.
