P.E.A.C.E. = Peace, Equanimity, Appreciation, Compassion & Ethical Engagement. This series is a unique, experiential approach to learning essential skills & deepening your capacity to deliver the best non-medical care possible to those you care for personally or as clients. I call on decades of education, contemplative practices and work in death & dying as well as years offering spiritual care and bereavement services & facilitating difficult conversations. I teach inclusive non-threatening approaches to end of life and offer ways to incorporate simple, non religious ritual and ceremony. We'll practice, learn & have time for discussion. The week between each session offers suggestions for noticing, investigating & reflecting on that week's topic - so you can integrate what you've learned. I have taught in the U.S. Dubai, Thailand and India and have a unique degree in Hospice &d Grief Counseling as part of my BA, spent years as the Director of the Being with Dying Program at Upaya Zen Center, worked in hospice for over 15 years and was recently ordained as a Buddhist Chaplin. I bring time in multi-cultural situations and lessons learned from indigenous teachers to my work. I look forward to exploring life, death and dying with you. Check out my website at www.circlesofcompassionatecare.com.
You need to commit to all 5 sessions, each one is priced but sold as a package.
