Death over Drafts Happy Hour (Portland, OR)
Cheers!!! Join The Death Deck, The Hospice Heart, Queer Grief Club & Be Present Care at the Ecliptic Brewing Moon Room on Saturday, February 18, 6-8 pm.
We welcome those who reside in greater Portland and those attending the National Clinical Conference on MAID (Medical Aid in Dying) and it also happens to fall on Zwicklemania!!
Death over Drafts is an informal event about all things death and dying. We will be brewing up conversation using The Death Deck, a lively tool to navigate many topics related to death. Most of all, we want to have fun and de-stigmatize talking about the inevitable.
A Death over Drafts gathering will include 30 minutes of mingling, 60 minutes of playing The Death Deck followed by 30 minutes of reflection.

Death over Drafts was "brewed up" in 2019 at Let's Reimagine in San Francisco, when Jill Schock, Death Doula LA and Stefanie Elkins, Be Present Care had a vision in bringing people together to have meaningful connection by combining two of their passions: craft beer & conversations on life & death.
Monthly Happy Hours continue at different greater Los Angeles breweries, on Zoom and we are in the process on launching opportunities for others to co-craft Death over Drafts in their own community.
