Finding Ground beneath our Feet, with empathy and movement

Hosted by Sasha Soreff

Finding Ground beneath our Feet, with empathy and movement
Season change brings fresh opportunities for grounding, reconnecting, rebalancing. What supports you to get grounded? What stands in the way? Embodied practices and warm conversation to get grounded.

How do you ground yourself as you move through the day? What blocks getting grounded? Whether you stand on two feet, use a wheelchair or any other assistive tool, how do you locate yourself in relation to the ground that rises up to meet us?

Empathic conversation, rooted in the principles of Non-Violent Communication invites us toward a compassionate understanding of our lived experiences; creative movement allows for the embodied expression of long-held feelings. This union of empathy, embodiment, and expression brings from our heads into our hearts and toward a deeper level of self-connection and presence.

No prior movement experience is necessary, movement is optional and self-determined, and stillness is welcome.
