This event will be hosted by Nasser Khadjenoori and Patrice Horton. Nasser will share insights from his touching book, Hodie Mihi, Cras Tibi, which means “My turn today, yours tomorrow.” This heartfelt book captures the profound ways humanity expresses its relationship with death. It features a thoughtful collection of photographs from resting places in over thirty countries, stories, and poems. The book encourages reflection on life, loss, and the memories of loved ones, highlighting our interconnectedness as human beings.
Patrice Horton is a Death care Professional and a volunteer Board of Director for The National Home Funeral Alliance which is a non profit organization that educates individuals, families, and communities on how to care for their dead. Patrice will be utilizing the NHFA’s guide book to share insight on the art of community death care, and home funerals.
