Renowned poet William Marr just published a collection of 900+ of his poems, Traveling Through Time. These poems chronicle 6 decades of his life. Join us as Dr. Marr reflects on life, loss and growth

World-renowned poet William Marr has just published a collection of 900+ of his poems in "Traveling Through Time: Collected Poems". Though trained in engineering and having worked in energy and environmental systems, Dr. Marr has devoted time in retirement to writing, painting and sculpting.

Dr. Marr has published over 30 books of poetry in Chinese, English, bilingual (Chinese/English), multilingual (Chinese/English with French and Italian translations), and one Korean translation.

Dr. Marr has served in the past as President of the Illinois State Poetry Society and since August 2019, the Chicago Chinese News has publishing one of his bilingual (Chinese/ English) poems every Friday without interruption.

This new volume contains poems that Dr. Marr wrote in 1956 to the present. Welcome join us in conversation as Dr. Marr reflects on his life journey and reads in English selected poems from this new collection.
