'Tis the season to be grieving. Let's talk about the elephant in the room -- someone is missing this holiday season. This context will provide comfort and ideas about how to process feelings and integrate rituals to find a balance between old and new traditions, whether personally or collectively. If you've been concerned about navigating shifting family dynamics, special days, and big emotions, may you be blessed by this session which will include a talk by the speaker, personal reflection through writing, and some (optional) discussion.
Primarily for individuals who have experienced the death of a loved one in the past few years, though everyone is welcome.
FACILITATOR: Kristen Emerson, LCSW -- She has served with hospice and bereavement settings for 15 years with a preference of facilitating groups. She integrates clinical expertise with practical solutions while fostering connection and discussion. Kristen acknowledges individuality and encourages creativity. (When not talking about death, she also enjoys cheering for the Green Bay Packers and visiting the beach!)
NOTE: This is an educational workshop and NOT therapy.
