The Ark: Virtual Film Premiere & Discussion
In April 2020, Well of Wills began to create and collect video diaries that would reflect the longing, grief and isolation of the early weeks of the pandemic. The Ark collages together 26 of these microfilms to ask the question, “On the other side of this, who will we become?”
We look forward to the premiere of The Ark as an occasion to reunite virtually and share this collective creation with our community.

Our Program (Times reflect EST)
- 7:30-7:40 Welcome & Introduction to the Film
- 7:40-8:00 Film screening
- 8:00-8:55 Discussion with the Filmmakers: “How and Why to Create Collectively in Times of Uncertainty?” led by Marlene Ramirez Cancio (Founder & Director of Emerge NYC).
- 8:55-9:00 - Closing will include a short meditation and writing prompt

Tickets & Financial Transparency
We are asking for a donation that will go exclusively towards reimbursement for costs of producing & distributing this work (about $2,000). Any amount received from ticket sales at this event that exceeds the production budget will be donated to City Harvest.
