How it All Began, the life and work of Dr. Elisabeth Kübler-Ross

This talk will take us back to the beginnings of the hospice movement, and the work done by Elisabeth Kubler Ross, MD to change the way people die in the US.

Ken Ross, son of Dr. Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, will present on his mother’s work and legacy. Ken is the founder, and President of the EKR Foundation. While growing up, he got to accompany his mother on her extensive travels all over the world while getting to witness her lectures and workshops. Ken has lectured for more than twelve years on his mother’s legacy for hospices and various conferences in South America, Asia, and Europe.

He was the principal care provider for his mother in the last 9 years of her life until her death in 2004
