MavenHaven is my creative death care practice, rooted in the belief that grief, dying, and remembrance deserve more care, honesty, and imagination than our culture often allows. I’m an artist, death doula, grief worker, and former hospice volunteer coordinator, and I created MavenHaven to help people navigate loss and transition in ways that feel personal, meaningful, and human. My work especially centers queer and trans people, people of color, caregivers, and others often overlooked or underserved by traditional grief and end-of-life systems. Through grief-informed legacy projects, memorial art, end-of-life companionship, and gentle support, I help individuals and families honor what matters most with creativity, compassion, and care.
