I am here to reimagine western society's relationship to grief. I am here to offer spaces that heal our relationship to loss through the use of creativity, community, and care.
Story
I planted the seed of this passion project in 2021. The heart of Together in Sacred Grief was originally "Together in Grief" : an invitation to community to share their expressions of grief through art to then be added to a zine. I planted the seed of this passion project in 2021. The heart of Together in Sacred Grief was originally "Together in Grief" : an invitation to community to share their expressions of grief through art to then be added to a zine. This zine represented resistance to oppressive societal structures by shifting the embedded narrative of denial of mortality, isolation in loss, and the diminishment of grief. By utilizing creativity and community, this zine holds space to heal aloneness in grief. After finishing graduate school, I decided to expand Together in Grief into Together in Sacred Grief. Together in Sacred Grief is a space dedicated to continuing the annual grief zine, providing education about death and grief through blogs and social media, offering workshops and groups, and grief coaching care to support grievers in accessing meaning, magic, and ritual in their grief process.
