Our lives are a tapestry of beauty & struggle, surrender & mystery, fear & wonder. I’ve worked with close to 1,000 families and individuals at the end of life and believe that NOW is the time to reclaim our human capacity to tend to the dying time of life with compassion and courage. My years as Director & faculty at the Being with Dying program at Upaya Zen Center, a BA in Hospice & Grief Counseling, over 15 years of direct experience working in hospices, a certificate in Healing through Art and decades teaching Compassionate End of Life skills and training hospice volunteers in the U.S., India and Dubai have given me a body of compassionate, practical skills and experience woven throughout with threads of contemplate practice, ritual and poetry that can serve individuals and their loved ones.
