Ancestral Circle
We are in the midst of unprecedented times, still in a state of liminality and uncertainty. Many of us feel Anger, Grief and unsettling anxiousness. We crave togetherness in our aloneness, community connection for which we have been starved for many months, to be heard, to be seen. We crave connection with nature, with each other, with our ancestors. These traumas that are coming up go beyond one event, they have been carried in our epigenetics for centuries. These are wounds that go down to the roots, and our ancestors spoke to their wounds by connecting with their ancestors before them.
We are here to create a container, to bring ritual that will honor our sacred feelings. Join Michelage Quay and Tricia Eastman in Ancestral Circle for those that feel a inner invitation to assemble in solidarity.
Please arrive on time and mute yourself and stay muted throughout the event. You may type questions in the comments or raise your hand to be respectful of the sound.
If you have a candle, please light before the start of the ceremony. If you have an object, an heirloom, talisman, keepsake or even an unexpected object, one that can be held in one hand. Please bring one shaker instrument or rattle like instrument such as percussive egg, if you have one. These engagements and objects will all assist us in our capacity to connect with each other in embodying the presences that will emerge and experience in this work.
