Soul Connecting: Healing Someone in ICU Isolation
A loved one falls ill with COVID-19, is unconscious and not allowed visitors in the hospital ICU. How do you communicate with them? How do you convey to them your love and support? Hear the story of one American Jewish family who used a contemporary communication platform and new spiritual technologies to stay connected to their loved one in the ICU and each other across the North American continent. Learn the techniques they used and how you can apply them to support, sustain and heal a loved one with whom you cannot be in physical contact. The presentation will include clips from actual family Zoom gatherings spanning seven weeks, four generations, five states and a range of innovative spiritual practices. Your hosts will be Rabbi Dan Goldblatt (younger brother of the patient), and his partner Zoë Francesca (an End of Life Doula and Activities Therapist).
