Mourning Into Unity: National Virtual Vigil on Election Eve

You'll hear from inspirational faith leaders and leading healthcare professionals. We come together as Americans who believe in our democracy and the sanctity of the ballot.

On election eve, our nation’s healers -- leading scientists and faith voices -- will join us online for a peaceful, candlelight vigil. The event will be hosted by Rev Dr Russell Meyer and the speakers include: Professor Bill McKibben, Rev Brian McLaren, Rev Dr Leslie Copeland-Tune, Rabbi Evan Moffic, Dr Bandy Lee, Dr Gary Slutkin, and Rev Dr Sheila Guillaume.

By joining with participants from more than 30 houses of worship around the country that have woven a #MourningIntoUnity tapestry connecting us to one another, participants will affirm the principles of peace. That we are committed to resolving our differences in a nonviolent manner during this election. That these are principles that should extend to all participants, be they voters, candidates, political party and campaign staff, or elected officials, as well as the media.

Together, we choose peace at all times as we go to the ballot box, and as we await the count. Because united, we make America whole.
