"Grief is like a long valley, a winding valley where any bend may reveal a totally new landscape." -C.S. Lewis A Grief Observed
You’re Invited to the Online Yoga for Grief: Broken Hearts Club
When: Saturday, February 15th, 2025
Time: 10:30am to 12:30pm Pacific Time
Where: Online (from the comfort of your own home)
Loss touches all of us. Whether it’s the end of a relationship, the passing of a beloved pet, the loss of a partner, a job, or any other experience that tenderizes our hearts, we carry grief in unique and profound ways.
Join us for a transformative session designed to nurture and expand your Grief Capacity through evidence-based mindfulness practices, gentle yoga movements, and the healing vibrations of sound therapy. Together, we’ll explore how to hold space for our broken hearts while recognizing the incredible resilience we all possess.
What You’ll Need:
- A quiet, comfortable space
- A yoga mat or a soft supportive surface
- A blanket or cushion for added comfort
- Water or tea to stay hydrated
- A journal or notebook for reflection
-An item of remembrance
Optional: eye pillow, candles, essential oils, or items that bring you peace
How It Works:
- Attend Alone or With Friends: You’re welcome to join individually or gather a small group to participate together in your home.
- Engage Fully:This is a come-as-you-are event. No prior yoga experience is necessary—movements and practices will be accessible for all levels.
- Stay for Support: After the session, there will be a supportive debriefing check-in for those who wish to stay and share or simply listen. (If you intend to join for this part, please make some extra time after 12:30pm).
Allow yourself this moment to feel, heal, and grow within a compassionate community. Together, we’ll hold space for the tender places in our hearts and begin the journey toward wholeness.
