Grief at the Table: Holiday Dialogue from BIPOC Grief Guides

Join us for a holiday roundtable and celebration with BIPOC grief guides and deathcare workers.

We will be in conversation about the role of grief guides and end of life workers and the importance of this work, especially for our diverse communities.

Please also join us in celebrating the launch of Grief at the Table, a compilation of short stories, poems, prose, recipes, and artwork from voices of color, created as a collaborative offering for a soft place to land during the holiday season.


ABOUT PAUSE

Founded by grief consultant and author Alica Forneret, PAUSE is an organization (pending nonprofit) offering digital and in-person resources and programming to serve the public, BIPOC deathcare professionals, and companies.

In 2022, PAUSE’s Starlight Business Development Residency welcomed its first cohort of 12 BIPOC deathcare professionals from across the U.S. to embark on a 6-month journey together.

The publication Grief at The Table arose as an opportunity for residency cohort members to illuminate the effects and impact of grief during the holidays through a BIPOC lens.
