Dr. Gloria Horsley is co-founder of Open to Hope, an international organization committed to providing hope and resources to grieving people. She hosts the syndicated internet radio show, The Grief Blog, and serves the grief support organization, Compassionate Friends, as a board member, chapter leader, and workshop facilitator. Gloria is often called on to present seminars throughout the country. She has made appearances on television and radio programs, including the TODAY show. She has authored a number of articles and written several books including Teen Grief Relief with Dr. Heidi Horsley, and The In-Law Survival Guide.

Dr. Heidi Horsley is co-founder of Open to Hope, an international organization committed to providing hope and resources to grieving people. She serves on the Compassionate Friends National Board of Directors and on the Advisory Boards for the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors, the Elisabeth Kubler-Ross Foundation, and the Children's Brain Tumor Foundation. For ten years, Heidi served as a co-investigator for the FDNY-Columbia University Family Guidance Program, a study providing ongoing intervention and follow-up to families of firefighters who died on 9/11.

Allison Gilbert is co-author of Listen, World!: How the Intrepid Elsie Robinson Became America's Most-Read Woman, the first biography of American writer Elsie Robinson (coming September 27, 2022). Her previous books include, Passed and Present: Keeping Memories of Loved Ones Alive. On Allison’s popular grief and resilience blog, she features Q & A’s with some of the most notable names in our culture today including, Arianna Huffington, Jon Stewart, and bestselling authors Henry Louis Gates, Jr., Dani Shapiro, and Susan Orlean. She is host of "Women Journalists of 9/11: Their Stories,” a 20-part documentary series produced in collaboration with the 9/11 Memorial & Museum. Featured journalists include Savannah Guthrie, Maggie Haberman, Linda Wertheimer, Dana Bash, and many others.
