After a career in hospice nursing & youth ministry, Karen Hatch is a community organizer & a Board member & facilitator with the Eastern Shore Boys & Girls Club . She is a Co-founder of Eastern Shore Coming to the Table, a national group which brings together descendants of their ancestors who’d lived enslaved or as enslaver, The chapter uses restorative practices such as the circle process, Strategies for Trauma Awareness & Resilience. Karen is an Ambassador with Braver Angels which brings people together across political affiliations & has started a local group. She is an artist, photographer, songwriter & Certified InterPlay Leader. Sanghas, rooted in the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh, are her spiritual homes & she is credentialed in the Art of Ensoulment. With her life experience, she has a well rounded toolbox that provides grounding in all she is a part of as co-creator.
