Community Workshops and Events will be hosted online across the Leimert Park neighborhood, where you will be "invited in" via Zoom to connect with incredible local leaders, on a range of interesting topics.

Hosted by financial awareness/literacy educator, Misty Wilks. A Financial Planning & Logistics Workshop to think about how your lives would be impacted financially if someone close to you dies. Will emotional grief be exacerbated by financial distress? What ‘death’ costs should we consider and how can we prepare? read more >

4:00 - 5:15 PT / 7:00 - 8:15 ET | USING NARRATIVE STORY TO PROCESS GRIEF: A WRITING WORKSHOP BY A CAREGIVER FOR CAREGIVERS

Throughout this workshop, Jacquelyn will openly share her personal story as a young caregiver to her grandmother and mother and how she overcame the weight by learning how to continually ask for help. Participants will be guided through movement and storytelling practices that will help to release any judgments that we hold from others and ourselves to create an environment where open and honest storytelling can prevail.
