Together on the 9th: A Musical Candlelight Vigil
This marks the 7-month anniversary of COVID-19 and the 2-month anniversary of George Floyd's funeral. Please bring a candle and invite any friends or loved ones who would like to honor those lost.

Nothing heals us like music. This Sunday, August 9, marks the 7-month anniversary since the first reported death from COVID-19 and the 2-month anniversary since the funeral of George Floyd.

Please join us on as we bring music into our monthly Candlelight Vigil to honor those we’ve lost and those suffering, particularly to race-based violence and COVID-19, where we know race unjustly plays a major role in who lives and who dies.

The vigil will be led by Reimagine staff members, who are also talented musicians, including our Sr. Director of Development and folk soul singer, Stephanie Rivers, and Reimagine Founder Brad Wolfe, who has shared the stage with Sara Bareilles, Counting Crows, and more.

They will be joined in live performance by Amber Field, a multi-instrumentalist who has performed at Wanderlust and Esalen Institute, as well as Lia Rose, whose politically inspired songs and gorgeous voice have been shared across HBO, NBC, MTV, and Netflix.

Finally, we are excited to announce that Katy Butler, renowned health care journalist and author of the acclaimed book Knocking on Heaven's Door: The Path to a Better Way of Death, will be generously inspiring us through words and ceremony.

Bring a candle, invite your friends, and join us in taking and creating space for grief, love, and everything in between. The event is FREE and followed by optional 30 minute Togetherness Circles where you can connect with new Reimagine friends from across the globe.
