Vita Story Club is a nonprofit dedicated to promoting healthy aging, combating ageism, and reducing social isolation of older adults. We do this through the life story workshops we run, where we guide a group of participants through sharing and preserving their life stories. We've worked with various organizations, such as the Brooklyn Public Library, the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, as well as hundreds of individuals to preserve the life stories of their loved ones.
We invite you to our Life Story Showcase Event. This is a culminating event to our 10 week Life Story Workshop series. In our weekly workshop, our participants exchanged life stories and each created a personal memory book to save as a keepsake or gift for loved ones.
If you're interested in attending a Vita Story Club Life Story Workshop, stay tuned on Reimagine for more workshops to come! Check out a sample memory book to see what you're able to create for yourself and your family in our workshops.
This series and culminating event has been made possible by the Brooklyn Public Library and Apple Bank.
