When Living and Dying Dance a Duet, What Music Will You Play? This has become live music in my life since my dementia diagnosis. This session presents the Duet and the music as they are in my life.

When Living and Dying Dance a Duet, What Music Will You Play?

Most of us don't pay much attention to the Duet that Living and Dying are continually dancing in our lives. I didn't pay attention to their dance until I got a diagnosis of dementia in October 2022. From the shock of realizing the presence of Dying in me, it took time to realize that Living is still part of me. It then took time to realize that Living and Dying are dancing together in my life, yet more time for me to start to sing while they dance, and now the three of us together are preparing our Swan Song before my death and the music that will play after it.

This session will go through the development of my awareness of the Living-Dying Duet in my life, together with the music that will play for their dance and for my song in the coming crescendo of this composition.
