Let's honor our loved ones, hold space for grief, and reflect on the possibilities of transformation with author Kelly Cervantes and actor Miguel Cervantes.

Reimagine has been hosting candlelight vigils since March 2020, the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, in order to break down taboos and hold space for all that we've lost. This gathering features award-winning grief advocate, speaker, and author of the The Luckiest

Kelly Cervantes is an award-winning writer, speaker, and advocate best known for her blog Inchstones and USA Today bestselling book, Normal Broken: The Grief Companion for When It’s Time to Heal But You’re Not Sure You Want To. Her new memoir is The Luckiest. She has been published in the Chicago Tribune, Cosmopolitan, and Fortune as well as featured by MSNBC, New York Times, and CNN. She sits on the boards of CURE Epilepsy and The Undiagnosed Diseases Network Foundation and hosts CURE Epilepsy’s podcast, Seizing Life. Born and raised in the Midwest, Kelly resides in Maplewood, NJ, with her family.

Miguel Cervantes is an actor and singer best known for playing Alexander Hamilton in the Broadway production of Hamilton in New York. Prior to that he has performed that role close to 1200 times in the Chicago company. Hi other Broadway credits include If/Then, American Idiot, and HThe 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. He received his BFA in Musical Theater from Emerson College. His favorite roles have been "Daddy" to Jackson and Adelaide and husband to super hero wife Kelly. This event is in honor of Elvis Cervantes and Adelaide Cervantes

Kelly and Miguel made a painful decision to terminate a pregnancy because of a fatal fetal anomaly and to protect their son Elvis from a painful death. Four months later, Kelly became pregnant with Adelaide who was was born with a severe form of epilepsy. She died just five days shy of her fourth birthday.
