Aging came on me faster, harder, and more absolutely than with most people. A brain condition brought on the effects of Aging quickly and clearly, and put the approaching results of Aging right in front of me. There is no time for doubt although I am grieving for the "me" I'm losing -- and celebrating the new feelings-based "me" that is replacing the thinking-based "me" I've been up to now. I've set myself a clear mission for as long as I can pursue it: To raise Awareness and Conversation about Aging in the Community. This has also flowed in completely unexpected directions -- I've created a vocabulary of Aging feelings for which there are no words in the English language, gone through a process of creating my Lifestone which guides my life now, and other aspects which resulted from the fact that my brain is working less and my feelings are working more. This is my map of my Aging.
