Reimagine Community Forum on JEDI Initiatives

All perspectives are welcome, and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) perspectives will be centered.
In recognizing that historically and systemically some voices are given more heed than others, during this session, we will have a breakout room as well as listening section where white-identifying collaborators are asked to sit-back and listen while BIPOC Collaborators and attendees share their experiences and feedback, in addition to open sections where all perspectives are welcomed. White folks will also have a chance to have their own space to explore their role in increasing JEDI in our community.
After a warm Reimagine Welcome, the programming team will share original goals and steps taken by staff to cultivate a more inclusive festival experience, and hear from you about the following:
1. What worked?
2. What could be better?
3. What do you want to see more of next time?
4. What other feedback or requests do you have to make this the best community and platform it can be?
The gathering will be facilitated by Holistic Underground's Mazin Jamal, Reimagine's JEDI partner.
