Our Story
As a bereaved mom (Lisa) and widow (Christine), our individual experiences of loss and grief are what brought us together. What we once thought would destroy us, instead, united us. From a single BRAVE ‘hello’ grew a beautiful, lifelong friendship and the co-creation of our nonprofit organization, BeReAVEd Together, Inc. Our mission is to provide bereaved individuals with wellness-based resources, services, and community events to help empower sustainable healing - heart, mind, body, and soul. Our God-sized vision is to open and operate a transformational wellness center in southeastern Wisconsin, offering bereaved individuals a safe space to gather and create healing connections while experiencing alternative therapeutic modalities on a daily basis.
