I am an end of life guide and advocate. As a guide, I assist the dying in making a peaceful transition from this world. I also support the families and caregivers throughout the dying process. As an advocate, I speak and educate about end of life and social issues. I have been working in the end of life world since 1994.
I am the creator of Death and the Arts, which brings people together to explore the intersection of death, life and the arts. As the host of the "Interviews with the Influential" podcast, I interview politicians and the influential about end of life and social issues. I am also a collaborator on The Art of COVID project.
I have a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California. I was a speaker at TEDxMalibu and I have been featured in the Los Angeles Times, USA Today, Forbes, Fortune, MSN, Vice, KTLA TV and in international publications.
