I am a Hospice Aide, Palliative Care Doula and aspiring Palliative Care Physician with a passion for social justice and equity-informed end of life care for individuals in underserved communities. I have an innate capacity to care for beings during the End of life. My experience in Hospice allowed me to witness first hand how avoiding End of life conversations is detrimental for individuals and their loved ones as well as the gap of care for the QTBIPOC community. I started Death Positive NYC looking to destigmatize Death topics, encourage the conversation and bring knowledge and resources to the community.
