I am here to reimagine...

Cancer so that we stop giving up our lives, but rather live blissful and healthy ever after! Cancer doesn't get to be a death sentence - it gets to be a powerful teacher supporting us in discovering what's truly important in our lives!

For more than 12 years, I balanced a life that was full with work, family, friends and spiritual connection, with the process of caregiving family members with Cancer. After my beloved husband died of Cancer, I spent time during my grieving to reflect on what I'd learned from each of the very special people I'd supported during their journey, viewed from the perspectives of both caregiver and patient. And I decided to put that education to good use in service of others who are on the Cancer journey now. Culturally, we describe Cancer and the journey in so many ways, mostly disparaging. I'm committed to a different conversation - where we write our own story and are empowered to explore the messages of healing it brings, where we work with our health care team to restore ourselves to health, and we have the loving support of friends and family along the way. Cancer doesn't get to suck!
