As an installation artist I aim to create interactive/immersive environments inspired by various dreams I’ve had about death and the loved ones I’ve lost throughout my lifetime. These multi-media installations are meant to evoke feelings of peace, wonder, interconnectedness, deep knowing, and liberation. Many of these pieces are inspired by my late mother as well as my grandparents and friends who have appeared to me in dreams. This body of work “Death and Dreams” is an ethereal landscape, an exploration of loss, transition, love, grief, and the subconscious. My goal is to bring the viewer into this dreamscape- to immerse them in the beauty and intensity of what it is to love, to lose, to live, and to relate to one’s own mortality.
