I am certified Fellow of Thanatology through the Association of Death Education and Counseling and currently work at Calvary Hospital in the role of bereavement counselor. I facilitate bereavement groups for those who have experienced the death of a child, death of parent and death of spouse or partner. I also facilitate a children and teen bereavement group. I am not only passionate about working with group members but how bereavement and grief can be viewed through the social justice lens. I look forward to contributing research to the field on topics that aid in the understanding of grief in children and adolescents, immigrant populations, and faith communities.
