For over 175 years, we have been called to build an inclusive and diverse community, serve people in need, and celebrate the arts. We are a Christian community that is passionate about radical hospitality and justice.

We are a Christian community that is passionate about radical hospitality and justice.
Our parish has been mission-oriented since our founding in 1842. Throughout its history, Epiphany has served the people of downtown Washington, D.C. Epiphany continues to honor its roots by serving a wide variety of people. At a time when Washington, D.C. is growing rapidly, with some of the highest rents in the country, we continue to serve a population that gentrification has left behind; about 25% of our parishioners have experienced homelessness. We are a downtown common that provides respite and rejuvenation for downtown visitors, workers, and the homeless.
