My Inspiration

The global pandemic and widespread political unrest have taken the notion of the world's suffering in a whole new direction. Many people are expressing fear, anxiety, and deep concern. More than ever we need to strengthen our spirit and clarity of mind to deal with the challenges we face. Someone said to me during an interview recently, "I feel helpless in the face of the world’s suffering. I don’t know what to do about the pain I see all around me. It’s driving me crazy." Driving yourself crazy takes a lot of energy and attention. If we direct that energy away from "feeling helpless" and bring it into alignment with our desire to benefit, we begin to arrive at creative solutions with vast positive potential. I wrote this article for anyone who is feeling overwhelmed by either personal or world events. By applying the insights and exercise given here, you can move from feeling helpless to connecting with renewed energy and inspiration to bring about positive change.
