The Memory Garden: A Sacred Place to Reflect and Heal

The Memory Garden, located within Sinai Memorial Chapel’s Eternal Home Cemetery in Colma, provides a dedicated space where families who have experienced miscarriage or infant loss can come to reflect, meditate, and mourn.

This beautiful, first-of-its-kind garden establishes a communal space for those who are grieving.

Beyond the Garden

JFCS’ Bereavement and Healing Services, in collaboration with Sinai Memorial Chapel’s Memory Garden and in cooperation with community organizations, synagogues, clergy, and the Bay Area medical community, is raising awareness about the vital support that is available to families experiencing pregnancy-related loss.

We are here to help medical practitioners, social workers, and therapeutic clinicians communicate with their patients about the various options available to them after experiencing such a loss.
