We are a team of Wellness & Death Care Professionals devoted to bringing our talents together to create a deeper understanding of life & death. We originally started as a retreat, A Deeper Dive into Death, for individuals interested in learning the ins & outs of death care on a professional or personal level. The workshop offered a hands-on, experience based teaching on the end-of-life journey, diagnosis through disposition. Jill Schock of Death Doula L.A, along with Megan Carmichael of 805 Funerals, Stefanie Elkins of Be Present Care, & Rocio Navarro of Water. Sound. Spirit., in the tranquil & healing grounds of the Sierra Hot Springs in Sierraville, in late 2019. With the overwhelming success of the retreat we knew our hard work couldn’t end there & we added one more to the team, Amber Carvaly of Mortician in the Kitchen.
