I am at home exploring the liminal spaces between Western Psychology, Celtic Mythology and animism. I am an oral storyteller and Wilderness Rites of Passage guide with a PhD in Psychology and certificates in eco-therapy, hypnotherapy and transformational coaching. After the devastating death of my partner-at-the-time, Tyler, I experienced an after-death connection to him that psychology couldn't explain and didn't allow for. This lead me on a long-avoided journey to reconcile science with spirit. I'm still journeying! Raised in the borderlands of northern England and southern Scotland I now am rooting into the ancient mountains of the Southern Appalachians in North Carolina. I co-steward a forest farm focused on mushrooms and woodland medicinals where I guide various retreats and ceremonies.
