Filmmaking and photography are a critical aspect of the society in which we live. I am inspired by the power that films and photographs hold. I am most interested in creating work that addresses cultural paradigms, social concerns, stereotypes, and social justice issues. I want my images and films to have an impact on my viewers. I am intrigued by human resilience: overcoming hardships, losing battles but continuing to challenge their offenders and all of the complexities that come with being a human being. I use filmmaking and photography as a platform. I take pride in my ability to infiltrate communities dealing with marginalization and social justice obstacles that prevent a person or people from living their lives to their full potential.
