Grief is treated like a disease we must cure, but I believe that it is simply part of the human condition. We have to embrace that to grieve, is to love. When people die we turn to eating as a form of self-care and cooking as a love language. I believe that encouraging both sides of this can provide on-going benefits in the discussion of grief, depression, and death anxiety.
