Our mission is twofold: *To create a warm and welcoming environment for people to share the stories of their photos & things. Sharing out loud with others bearing witness keeps memories alive, passes along a piece of personal history, impacts someone else’s life, and enables participants to reconnect to their own forgotten stories and history. * To build real connections and community to help combat and counteract the growing prevalence of loneliness and isolation that many people feel. Social media has its place but it can give us a false sense of meaningful connections. and increasingly people are craving real human contact.
