We are inspired by the kindness and creativity that has led people to make masks for themselves, loved ones and strangers.
We want to capture images of masks, along with people wearing their masks, and the stories of how they came to be, as a way of memorializing this extraordinary time in our history.

We want to capture images of masks, along with people wearing their masks, and the stories of how they came to be, as a way of memorializing this extraordinary time in our history.
The Art of COVID is a project of Casa de la Luz Foundation created in collaboration with end of life experts Betsy Trapasso and Dr. Candi K. Cann.
Please share your images and stories with us. There is no right or wrong way – talk about what inspired you to make masks. If someone made your mask for you, talk about your connection to them and why they chose the fabric for you. Talk about how wearing the mask makes you feel and your general thoughts around COVID-19 and mortality.
