My fears for life & death inspired 35 years of an insatiable passion to serve death. My heart’s desire is for no one to die alone, in pain or without love; where individuals develop a harmonious relationship with end of life transitions & grief. My studies, life experience, & clients motivated my devotion as an advocate, educator, depth psychologist (PhD), & an end of life practitioner (Death Doula). After years of service, I cultivated a methodology of care that guided the birthing of The HeartWay, a non-profit organization, dedicated to serving those who are at end of life transitions, their caregivers, & loved ones at no cost. The HeartWay provides counseling, education, advocacy, ministry, & programs to help ease the challenges that arise with dying & death, & the grief that follows in hopes of encouraging an understanding of death that allows for an awakening in life.
