Grief is normal and our natural response to any kind of loss but, unfortunately, we’ve been ill-prepared on to deal with it and the upheaval that accompanies it.

To help you learn more about grief and your personal response to it, I created Grief and Grace: 31 Days of Understanding and Navigating Loss.

Through these daily email affirmations, you will learn how to address your grief, reconnect with yourself and others, and connect to your healing.

My Inspiration

The intensity and weight of my grief often made me wonder if I was going crazy. My sister passed away suddenly, and for months, breathing felt like a chore. Getting out of the house was overwhelming and being with people was downright painful at times. It was all I could do to keep it together and that made me feel like I was losing my mind. What I didn't know at the time was that all of that was my own natural -- and common-- response to losing my hero. So, I created these daily affirmations to help people understand they aren't going crazy, they're grieving. My mission is to educate people on and normalize grief and the many forms that it takes. My hope is that, at the end of the 31 days, you'll feel have a better understanding of grief in general, your grief in particular, and tools and resources to help you navigate it.
