Losing a child is one of the most profound and heart-wrenching experiences a parent can endure. In these challenging times, finding a supportive community that understands your unique journey can be incredibly healing. Our online grief groups provide a safe, compassionate space for bereaved parents to come together, share their experiences, and support one another as they learn about grief.

FORMAT - Our grief groups are conducted online via Zoom, allowing you to join from the comfort and privacy of your own home. Each group runs for 6 weeks, providing both education and support to help you navigate your grief journey

GROUP SIZE - To ensure a personalized and intimate experience, each group is limited to a small number of participants. This allows for meaningful connections and individual attention.

FACILITATOR - Our groups are facilitated by Erin Blechman, an experienced grief educator and author of My Unexpected Journey: Reflections After Losing My Son to Suicide. With a deep understanding of the grief process, Erin provides compassionate guidance, education, and support throughout the group sessions.

My Inspiration

After losing my son, Max, to suicide in 2020, I struggled to find others who understood my loss and could relate to my pain. I felt all alone - like nobody understood what I was going through. When I joined an online support group, everything changed. I finally met my people. I could say ANYTHING to these folks and see compassion and understanding reflected back to me. It was life changing. Since my loss, I've discovered that the best avenue for healing is community - being with others who have experienced the same thing. Nothing can replace being in safe space where you are truly seen, heard, and understood. Parents who have joined by online grief groups agree: “This group helped me realize there is no right or wrong way to grieve.” Lisa “I felt less alone after participating in this group. It helps to know others understand what I’m feeling.” Donna “Erin was a very knowledgeable, honest, kind, and caring facilitator.” Andrea
