My name is Christopher Rzigalinski. I'm a museum studies graduate student at NYU, educator, and multimedia artist in New York City. I started Working Definitions Media as a platform to investigate shared human experiences, develop foundations for understanding the impact of grief on individuals and their communities, and work towards spiritual, political, and social equality. My research and teaching work focuses on developing collaborative creative spaces to negotiate and heal the grief of systemic racism, disease, mental illness, ecological disaster, and death. I rely on a hybrid of philosophical ideas from museology, cultural theory, Buddhism, yoga, and Christianity. The desired goal with my projects is to curate living digital and physical archives that can grow over time. I have suffered and am committed to ameliorating pain in others whenever possible.
