Grief Circles - Center for MCCG was created in 2014 by Yasemin Isler as a refuge, hope and possibilities for healing through grief, using the foundations of her program, Mindfulness, Compassion and Community for Grief™ (MCCG). The intention for the program is to accompany and move through grief, and reconnect with life, inspired by her personal journeys with grief and healing, rooted in her contemplative practices, and investigations into death, illness, caregiving and grief. Yasemin is a grief educator and guide, end-of-life doula, integrative thanatologist, hospice volunteer, trauma sensitive mindfulness teacher, and writer. Leading mindfulness and compassion based grief circles, courses, retreats, and through individualized services, she has supported the grief journeys of many. She humbly brings along her own experiences of grief, loss, illness and caregiving.
