We are here to reimagine...
We are here to reimagine Advance Care Planning, End of Life, and Grief conversations that help us embrace our fear of death and invite us to discover what matters most so that we can live the life we truly want.
Our Story
In April 2017, 20 healthcare professionals met to discuss how to educate our community on the importance of completing their Advance Directives.
As a result, we created Kitchen Table Conversations. Our purpose was to provide educational resources on Advance Care Planning, End of Life Care, and Grief. We hoped the name of our non-profit will encourage people to have these conversations at the kit...

As a result, we created Kitchen Table Conversations. Our purpose was to provide educational resources on Advance Care Planning, End of Life Care, and Grief. We hoped the name of our non-profit will encourage people to have these conversations at the kitchen table instead of during a medical crisis in the ICU.
In October 2017 AARP Texas began sponsoring our workshop series The 3 Ds of Advance Care Planning: How to Decide, Discuss and Document Your End of Life Wishes which has resulted in thousands of Central Texans being educated on the importance of completing their Advance Directives.
AARP Texas also sponsors our grief educational webinar series "Conversations On Grief" which offers education and support to those grieving a loss.
