I am a heart-minded professional specializing in current and relevant approaches in supporting individuals and workplaces following a loss or trauma.
My career began in management of Fortune 500 companies, overcoming my own adversity following the sudden death of my husband I launched into supporting HR departments. My projects that followed included the launch of HeartLight Grief Center in Denv...

My career began in management of Fortune 500 companies, overcoming my own adversity following the sudden death of my husband I launched into supporting HR departments. My projects that followed included the launch of HeartLight Grief Center in Denver, CO and creating the Grief Network Alliance which provides a networking platform for grief-related professionals. Over the years, I have served on numerous board of directors (currently serving on the advisory board for SSI and TAPS).
My publications include numerous articles, blogs, podcasts and have appeared on GMA. And my books include best-selling Living with Loss One Day at a Time, Finding Peace, One Piece at a Time and Grief in the Workplace.
