Grief Support Groups for Children and Families

Circle of Care is a branch of East Bay Agency for Children dedicated to providing age appropriate grief support to children and families who have experienced the death of a loved one. Families come together every other week to participate in Grief Support Groups that are facilitated by trained volunteers. Children are lead through age appropriate activities that support the development of healthy coping skills, emotional intelligence, and foster connection with other grieving children. Caregivers meet in their own group to process and gain support from other adults experiencing grief while parenting.
